Our Journey
Since 2001, Golden Road Quartet has been sharing the gospel message through song and testimony. Although members have changed, the message stays the same. Past alumni include Dwayne Watkins, Greg Mason, Stephanie Murphy, Tim Tesreau, Brad Davis, Jerry Chewning, Lance Hamann, David Sappington, Bob Mitchell, Jerry Dobbs (Sound), and Brian Bates (Sound). We thank all of these individuals for the sacrifice of time, finances, and many miles traveled for the service of the Kingdom. As things continue to change, we look forward to the new faces and sound that God has put into place.
Welcome Some New Faces
David Watkins
David is a founding member of Golden Road.
He and his wife Julie have been married 34 years, and they reside in Doniphan Mo. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. He states: "I am so proud to be a part of this group of people, and to see what and where the Lord leads this group to in the coming days. I am excited to watch Jolie experience the joy of sharing the Gospel,"
Jolie Watkins
Jolie is currently 16 years old and lives in Doniphan, Missouri. She has grown to absolutely love southern gospel music. She loves the Lord with all of her heart and is ready to tell others about His goodness through music. She is David's daughter.

Sara,
(Matthews' little SISTER) was born and raised in Doniphan and married her high school sweetheart, Ryan. They have been married almost 20 years and are blessed with 3 children. She works as a nurse practitioner and enjoys spending time with her family, especially life on the river. Sara states " I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord through gospel music and share my faith through song."
